Coach Balvanz has been the Head Hawk since 2014 at Ankeny High and has coached high school baseball for over 20 years.
He teachesh Physical Education and Health at Parkview Middle School. He is a Simpson College graduate and has Masters in Ed from Viterbo University. He and his wife Jennifer Balvanz , who teaches Kindergarten at Prairie T

He is a wealth of knowledge for the program!

Dante Dolash
Is a Pitcher from Simpson College graduated in 2025, Coach Dolash majored in sports administration with a minor in health and exercise science.
Coach Dolash is an Iowa native. He graduate from South Hardin High School (Eldora, IA).
